So you want to Unjunk your Diet™ and start eating clean? Here are my top 10 rules to get started:
1. Eat organic as much as possible. Simply stated, organic produce and other ingredients are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms, or ionizing radiation. Animals that produce meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products do not take antibiotics or growth hormones. Remember we are trying to unjunk our diet so eating organic as much as possible is key AND it doesn’t have to break the bank.
